TRAIN AT YOUR HOME
TRAIN ON YOUR SCHEDULE

I will come to you. There is approximately 9 hours of classroom training that we can do in your living room. Of course, if it is just you and your family, this training goes much quicker. Doing this one-on-one training saves you time and allows you to train in an environment that you feel comfortable in. Also, you will have the undivided attention of the instructor. This is the fastest and most comfortable way for you to get your CHP.

The information is tailored to you, your gun, and your home and family situation.

For 200.00, I will train you in your home or any safe place of your choice. This can be done in one day, or we can break it up over a couple days--whatever works for you. Once we are done, all that is left is for you to get passport photos, fingerprints, and your documents notarized. Soon, I will be able to do this at your house also. Until then, I can definitely assist you in the easy way to get this done. And of course, we have to hit the range. This can be done in about an hour, and it will be at the Shooters Club Range- Map below.

FAMILY TRAINING

If your wife or husband would also like to train, we can do it all together as a group in the comfort of your own home. How about a class for the whole family on firearm safety and general home safety. This can all be wrapped into an evening that the whole family can enjoy and learn from. Prices can be negotiated to train the whole family.

When you factor in the cost of fuel, and the time you spend coming to class, this is an affordable and convenient way to take one more step in protecting yourself and your family.

We can schedule small groups or corporate groups separately from other classes if desirable.

LOCATION

Classroom Location: 110 North Causeway Blvd, Metairie, LA 70001. We are located in the old F & L Sales and Services building in the rear of the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's office parking lot nearest the motor pool. We are almost underneath Causeway Blvd.

If coming from I-10, exit to the right before entering the loop. Continue down lower causeway, past Genarros restaurant on your right, past the nest stop sign. It will be the last building on the right before entering the JPSO parking lot.

DIRECTIONS FROM CLASS TO RANGE

BRING TO CLASS:
1. Louisiana Driver's License or Identification Card

2. Cash payment for class.

3.Pistol- LEAVE IN VEHICLE

We currently have an arrangement with a local notary to have all documents notorized while you are in class for 25.00.

Costs other than Class FEE

Range Fee- 10.50
We utilize the Shooter's Club Range on Hickory Ave in Harahan for the shooting portion of the course. Currently, they charge a range fee of 14.50 per person. This is paid directly to the range.

Ammunition- Approximately 20.00
You are welcomed to bring your own ammunition from home; if you do this fee would not apply directly. If not, the range has ammunition for all common calibers available for sale. Depending on caliber, ammunition needed for the course should not cost more than 20.00. You need a minimum of 36 rounds, but we advise at least 50 in order to practice a little before shooting for score if you wish.

Safety Equipment-3.00
Eye protection and hearing protection are mandatory. If you do not have your own, we sell soft ear inserts and glasses for 3.00 or you can rent them for 3.00 at the range.

Notary Service-25.00
We have a deal worked out with a local notary who will notarize all associated documents for a set fee of 25.00. This will be done while you are in class. You are not required to utilize this service, but in order to receive your certificate, we must have your notarized Waiver of Liability Form in hand. This is a cost effective and convenient way to get your necessary notarization done while you continue to learn in class.

RENEWALS

75.00-
Renewals usually begin at 12:00 PM on the days of regularly scheduled classes. We can also offer personalized or individual renewal classes for 100.00. Photos are included in the price of the class.

Schedule of Classes

Classes are given in 2 formats:
1. All day on a Saturday or Sunday from 8:00 AM until approximately 4:00 PM
2. 3 weeks, 4 hours on two consecutive Mondays or Tuesdays from 6:30 PM until 9:30 PM, and then 1 hour at the range on a third week depending on mutual schedules.

Individual training is available for 50.00 per hour or 200.00 for the CHP course. Couples or very small groups can negotiate a rate if scheduled separately.
